This wooden box is suitable as a corporate souvenir and must be air-dried prior to carving. Male artisans work in small workshops, often situated within the compound of their house. They use various blades, adze, chisel mallets, and other woodworking tools to saw, drill, chisel, and carve. The finished work was then polished by using coarse mempelas leaves.
