Pewter is an alloy composed of tin and other metals. The molten metal which is 'lead-free' today, is poured into preheated steel mould, filed and polished. The more complicated item are cast in several parts and soldered together so effeciently that one find is difficult to detect the joints.

The majority of the pewter's products are still hand-made and make fabulous gift and momentous today.

The coat of arms of Malaysia (Malay: Jata Negara) is a coat of arms comprising a shield or escutcheon, two tigers for supporters, a crescent and fourteen-pointed star for a crest and a motto. As the Malaysian coat of arms descended from that of the Federated Malay States under British colonial rule
