Pewter is an alloy composed of tin and other metals. The molten metal which is 'lead-free' today, is poured into preheated steel mould, filed and polished. The more complicated item are cast in several parts and soldered together so effeciently that one find is difficult to detect the joints.
The majority of the pewter's products are still hand-made and make fabulous gift and momentous today.
Gendang is a drum used in trditional Gamelan Malay folk musical performance. This Gendang is made from fine quality pewter with high polished.
