SYARIKAT PEMASARAN KARYANEKA SDN BHD, popularly and commercially known as “KARYANEKA”, was established in 1982 as a wholly owned corporate entity of the Malaysian Handicraft Development Corporation, which is a statutory agency under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Malaysia.

The art of Malay woodcarving symbolizes the skill and creativity of generations of woodcarver. These often-elaborate carvings can last seven hundred years especially if made of high quality, durable tropical timber such as cengal, merbau and kempas perak.
