SYARIKAT PEMASARAN KARYANEKA SDN BHD, popularly and commercially known as “KARYANEKA”, was established in 1982 as a wholly owned corporate entity of the Malaysian Handicraft Development Corporation, which is a statutory agency under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Malaysia.
BATIK BLOCK
Traditionally, craftsmen use a process of waxing and dyeing the cloth to produce vibrant batik designs. Motifs are inspired by flora and fauna among other forms of nature, and by geometrical shapes. This batik blouse inspired by flora motif is produced using Batik Blok technique.
