PEWTER

Pewter is an alloy composed of tin and other metals. The molten metal which is ‘lead-free’ today, is poured into preheated steel mold, filed and polished. The more complicated items are cast in several parts and soldered together so efficiently that one find it difficult to detect the joints. The majority of pewter’s products are still hand-made and make fabulous gift and momentous today.
